to the Xaló Valley. This valley, that is also referred to as the ‘Vall de Pop’ or ‘Jalón Valley’, is located in the north of the Costa Blanca in the autonomous community of València

This valley has a rich and famous history and it has been known for centuries for its excellent wines, raisins, olives and its almonds

These days the Xaló Valley is well known for its healthy microclimate, almond blossoms, perfect cycling conditions and trekking routes

The name Xaló Valley

comes from the name of the centrally located and largest town in the valley

In 1994 the town of Jalón changed its name to the dual denomination of “Jalón” in Castellano and “Xaló” in Valenciano

Later, in 2007, Jalón/Xaló adopted exclusively the Valencian name and since then, the official name of the town is Xaló

It's healthy

The Xaló Valley was classified a few years ago as the second healthiest place to live in the world! This because it has its own micro climate

The valley therefore attracts many (professional) sportspeople, general health seekers and health professionals
